About Sacred Haven

Somatic Support for Women

In a culture that prioritizes moving forward, fixing, and explaining, there are few places where the body is allowed to slow down and complete what it’s been carrying — without being analyzed, rushed, labeled, or improved.

Sacred Haven offers somatic, body-based support for women seeking nervous system regulation and emotional integration. This work honors the body’s timing and allows healing to happen through presence, safety, and relational attunement.

This is a space for what hasn’t fully landed yet.
For what life has moved through — but the body is still holding.

About Kristen

Trauma-Informed Somatic Support & Nervous System Healing

I came to this work because my body was holding what life had already moved through.

There was a heartbreak that had ended, yet my body hadn’t released it. Years later, grief would surface without a clear reason — not as a story, but as a felt sense moving through me. Emotions would rise unexpectedly, leaving me confused about why I was still carrying something that had already passed.

My nervous system stayed braced, always waiting for the mic to drop, even when there was nothing to be on guard against. Burnout became familiar. Rest wasn’t something my body knew how to trust.

What this period revealed was not only grief, but years of unprocessed emotion stored in the body. Emotional suppression had taken a physical toll. I learned that trauma doesn’t only live in memory — it lives in the nervous system and the body. My healing required more than insight or understanding; it required nervous system support and the safety of another regulated presence.

I couldn’t do it alone.
Not because I wasn’t capable, but because my system needed co-regulation.

That lived experience is what informs my work today — offering trauma-informed, somatic support for women seeking nervous system healing, emotional integration, and a slower, body-led path toward safety and regulation.

How I work

My work is informed by training in John Barnes Myofascial Release and trauma-informed somatic approaches, alongside over a decade of working with women through body-based support, lived experience, and relational presence.

These foundations are woven intuitively, allowing the body — not a method — to guide each session.

More than technique, this work is rooted in presence, pacing, and respect for the body’s natural intelligence.

Why Sacred Haven

Sacred Haven exists because not all healing happens through insight or analysis.

Some experiences need to be met.
Some patterns unwind only when the nervous system feels safe.
Some parts of us need time and relational support to complete what they’ve been carrying.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about embodied integration, allowing what’s already happened to land.

You don’t need to explain yourself here.
You don’t need to rush.
You’re welcome exactly as you are.
